T.S. Misra Medical College And Hospital is a teaching campus located at Amausi, Lucknow spread across 76 hectares of land. The aim was to build a campus with a vision to provide health care to all genres of people and education to future doctors of our society. The planning of the project webbed itself from campus level to individual department level based medical functions and placement. to make way to different zones, the campus was thus divided into a 700 bedded hospital, an academic block and residential facilities. Future provision for expansion was also demarcated. The hospital designed on a principle of bring nature closer to care, encourages courtyard planning with penetration of light as main design parameter. A sharp volume that contains two large blocks well interconnected invites smooth working flow. OPD clinics, grouped in three levels in the larger block of the building, are disposed as small specialized self-managed cells, exam rooms and consult rooms and their own waiting area. Patients and workers access to the clinics from different ways to improve circulatory efficiency. Mandatory medical care facility like emergency, icu, operation theatres day care, pharmacy public health and other all become a part of this hospital facility. The hospital extends itself to modern day Medical Vidyalaya to future doctors. An independent academic block stands within the same campus to accommodate mbbs education with all modern facilities. From demo room, to lecture theatres to medical library and museum embodies all function of a running medical college. For all students, nursing staff and resident doctors, campuses hold residential facilities to accommodate all.
