The Delhi Development Authority envisaged planning, design & construction of the Lake View Complex in The Capital City of Delhi near Trilokpuri metro station, a location in the eastern part of Delhi.

The DDA has desired to develop this project based on the principles of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) being the first of its kind in Delhi. This is being planned to include multi–sectorial facilities in trade and commerce, residential and other areas in order to make it a vibrant and dynamic complex which would also be self-contained and self-sustaining. To develop A Transit Oriented Development named Lake View Complex with a vision based on smart city concept. The concept of TOD development is to create influential zone where maximum number of people can live, work and find means of recreation within walking distance of MRTS corridor/ station. This integrated complex embodies a mixed used development encouraging residential, commercial and community activities. Being designed on a land enveloping the Trilokpuri Metro Station and embarking on the edge of Sanjay Lake, the constituents list includes residential units, retails, offices, community spaces, sport facilities, recreational zones and landscape areas. Aiming for a sustainable integrated complex, environmental friendly measures like efficient HVAC system, generation of power through solar, recharging of landscaped area, concepts of public and private green zones etc have been taken.

Concept of high rise residential tower sitting on a commercial activity base building which is based on the a concept of “eye on street”, along with better connectivity of pedestrian movement at MRTS concourse level as well as street level, becomes the conceptual line to the project. Division of various activities in various zones creates independent active nodes within the overall site.
