The Project involves the Construction of a New block for Forensic Science Laboratory as the extension to an existing Building in the same premises for expansion of facilities. A new ESS Block is also proposed to in-house Engineering Support Services for both the existing block and the New Laboratory Block. The New FSL Block will mainly inhouse crime scene Investigation Department on Ground Floor and Laboratories of various departments on respective upper floors. The Basement of the block is planned for support services and cold storages etc. The proposed building and the existing building have been connected through a bridge on each floor. To cater to the parking requirements, an 11-storey automated MLCP is also proposed above the ESS Block (which is mainly a basement floor).
