Medanta – The Medicity is located in Gurgaon in the National Capital Region of India. Medanta is spread across 43 acres; the institute includes a research centre, medical and nursing school. It has 1250 beds and over 350 critical care beds with 45 operation theatres catering to over 20 specialities.

The hospital building is an overall construction of 2.1 million square feet with 1.6 million above ground and the rest comprising a three level basement for parking. This facility is currently sized up for 1200 beds and is designed to eventually hold 1600 beds. This state of the art hospital is a multi-specialty facility with quite a multiple disciplines - Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopaedics and Neurology going into super-specialties.

The plans for the entire project are being developed to the highest standards of intercontinental codes, comprising of National Building Code of India, NFPA 101 and JCI (Joint Commission International U.S.A.).
