DIAL has engaged UK based Mott MacDonald Limited as their Lead Technical Advisors for preparation of Master plan and major development plans. Arcop Associates along with HOK Aviation London were the sub consultants of Mott McDonalds. ARCOP were associated with HOK - who were the main terminal designers or PTB. ARCOP worked on Terminal design of T3 building, Refurbishment of Terminal 2 and a few support buildings of IGI Airport.

Terminal 3 has a state-of-the-art complex that features Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) and an advanced 5 level in-line baggage handling system with explosive detection technology for greater efficiency and security. The check-in area features more than 168 check-in counters.
